In order to have a business presence on the Internet, you must register a Domain Name with Network Solutions. But this is only the first step. If your organization and cash flow allowed, you could buy your own server system and a dedicated connection to the Internet. In most cases it is more practical to have someone else do that part for you. This is what ZiaNet does for you when you contract for Virtual Domain services.

The Domain Name e.g. www.mybusiness.com, gives you a Name on the Internet. Next you need an Address where your Web Site will reside. We will set up space on our server, and a dedicated IP address to be used only by you, so that when people type in (or search for) your name they will be directed to your address on our server.

You will also be able to set up as many as 40 email boxes on your domain as part of the standard service. Email can be directed to your domain with your address e.g. TheBoss@mybusiness.com.

We also provide assistance and implementation of Data Access systems, and CGI, Perl or ASP scripting. You must develop these services, or hire someone to do them for you. We provide Technical support and any assistance needed to implement these services on our system.

Setup.
Our setup charge is $50 for a single domain name. Network Solutions currently charges $35 for registration of the Domain Name. This fee includes a one year license. Network Solutions will bill you $35 per year thereafter to maintain the license. These fees are not controlled or billed by ZiaNet.
Note: If you will be registering several domain names, but all will point to the same home page, there is an additional $25 setup fee for each domain name. There is no additional monthy service charge.

Monthly service.
The Standard charge includes up to 60Mb space for your Domain, up to 40 mail boxes, and unlimited Tech Support. The charge is $25 per month. Please note that this does not include Dial-up access. You will still pay $20 per month for your dial up account with ZiaNet.

Our costs, plus a little on the side for tech support. We have a very high speed connection to the Internet. This means that your customers, whether local or international, will experience good performance from your web site. You also have the benefits of a local office with prompt technical support to help you get set up, and to keep things running smoothly. We provide many built-in services that use scripting technologies to do Data access, Forms (including Secure forms using SSL), Microsoft FrontPage™ extensions, and other specialized services. We are expanding and refining these services based on customer demand.

We are usually able to set up a virtual domain within a week. If there are any problems, or if we are experiencing high demand, it may take a few days longer. We will keep you apprised of the status of your request.
